Who we are

We're a small, independent team building tools for people who want a straightforward, transparent way to buy cryptocurrency with their local currency, or cash it back out again. We don't run a crypto exchange, and we're not a payments company ourselves — we built Fiat Swap because comparing rates across providers was harder than it should be, and we wanted a tool that does that one job well.

What we do

Fiat Swap is a real-time comparison tool for buying and selling cryptocurrency. We query live quotes from regulated third-party providers — currently MoonPay and Transak — normalize them onto a common basis, and show you which one actually gets you the better deal, net of fees: more crypto for your money when you buy, or more money into your account when you sell. When you pick a quote, we hand you off directly to that provider's own checkout to complete the transaction.

That's the extent of what we do. We don't hold your crypto or your money at any point, we don't perform the conversion ourselves, and we're not a party to the transaction you complete with the provider you choose. See our terms of service for the full breakdown of what Fiat Swap is and isn't.

Why a comparison tool

Providers price the same buy or sell differently depending on the asset, network, country, currency, and payment or payout method involved, and those rates move constantly. Checking each provider individually, one at a time, to find the better deal is tedious — Fiat Swap does that automatically, every time you ask.
